August Nurse of the Month – Jeza

Sep 01, 2021

At WESolutions, we believe that our responsibilities do not end once we have helped an amazing nurse secure a new role. Our goal is to build long-lasting relationships that go above and beyond that. We’ve been committed to understanding the hopes, dreams and aspirations of the people we work with so that they can build the career (and life) that they want.

Our Nurse of the Month initiative is designed to highlight the journey, achievements, and experiences of some of the most talented nurses we have had the pleasure of assisting to identify their dream jobs. Without further ado, we would like to introduce August’s Nurse of the Month, Jeza.

Jeza’s StoryAugust Nurse of the Month – Jeza Francisco Nolasco

Jeza stepped out of her comfort zone to overcome a lot of difficulties to make it here, but she remained positive, determined, and never gave up! We’ve been fond of her bubbly personality and burst of energy from the very first day she reached out to us for assistance.

We are incredibly proud to see her strive and leave positive impact on the lives of her patients.

You are such an inspiration, Jeza! Continue to spread your wings wider.

Q: When did you realise that a career in nursing was right for you? Was there a particular moment in your life?
A: It was originally my mother’s dream for me to become a nurse. In the second year of nursing school is when I realised that nursing is really for me.

Q: What was your journey like in securing a role through WESolutions?
A: At first, I was hesitant to go through with my application to move to the UK. I was having a hard time complying with all the legal laws and paperwork because of the pandemic. But through the help and guidance provided by the amazing team over at WESolutions, this entire process became easier and smoother for me. They helped me with everything – from paperwork processing to the interview preparations!

Q: What advice would you give to young people considering a career in nursing?
A:
Nursing is all about passion. You need to have a strong will and ambition to become a nurse because it’s not easy. There will be moments when you will feel down, lost, and hopeless. In moments like these, it is important to remind yourself of your passion and why you started. Believe in yourself, work hard, and continue striving until you reach your goal.

Q: Do you have any standout memories/funny/interesting stories from your career as a nurse?
A:
One of the most surreal moments for me was the first time I assisted in the delivery of a baby. It was a great feeling to know that you played a part in the happiest moment of someone’s life.

Q: If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
A: Teleportation! Due to the pandemic, traveling is hard. So, if I could be teleported, I’d like to travel home to meet my family and to all the places that I’ve never been to before.
